The resolution of an image for printing depends on the print size and viewing distance. A 4x3-meter image viewed from 4 meters away does not require the same resolution as a 30x40-centimeter print that you will view up close. Surprisingly, a much higher resolution is needed to print the 30-centimeter version.

We recommend submitting your images at the desired print size. If you have any questions, please send us your files at a resolution of 300 dpi. Results will not be optimal with lower-resolution files.

Use the appropriate color profiles: To ensure accurate color matching with the studio, it is important that you submit your files with the correct color profile. In this case, we recommend using the Adobe RGB 1998 or Profoto profile for color images and the Gray Gamma 2.2 profile for black-and-white images. Make sure your images are set to the appropriate color profiles before submitting them.
